What is Ordoro?
Ordoro is a web-based suite of tools that help streamline ecommerce order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, dropshipping, and supply chain logistics.
It’s a centralized hub aimed at small to mid-sized businesses who want the ability to manage multi-channel orders, compare carrier rates, print labels, and keep track of their inventory levels in one place.
How does Ordoro work?
Ordoro is a fairly straightforward piece of software. Simply select your monthly shipping plan, inventory plan, or dropshipping plan. Or you can opt to pay for all three services.
Once your account is activated, you can integrate with ecommerce channels and marketplaces like Shopify, eBay, Amazon, and more, enabling you to manage and track every order, regardless of where each sale was made.
You can compare carrier prices for each parcel, get discounted shipping rates with USPS, UPS, and Sendle, and process individual and bulk shipments from your dashboard.
If you choose to pay for the inventory management plan, you can access extra features such as managing real-time stock levels across your sales channels, bulk updating inventory, creating purchase orders, and managing suppliers.
Ordoro also supports dropshipping workflows, allowing you to automatically route orders to suppliers for direct shipping to your customers.
Key features of Ordoro:
Multi-channel integration with leading marketplaces, ecommerce channels, and apps
Shipping rate comparison
Label printing
Automated order routing to 3PLs, suppliers, and dropshippers
Inventory management
Analytics and reporting
Is Ordoro free to use?
Ordoro bundles its plans* separately for shipping, inventory, and dropshipping, so you’ll need to do the math on the features you need, versus nice-to-have features, versus your monthly budget.

Shipping Prices with Ordoro
There are several pricing tiers for Ordoro’s shipping management tools, including a free plan and a 15-day free trial.
The Essential shipping plan is free, and lets you print up to 100 labels a month, but if you print over 100 labels, it will result in a temporary account lock, which means you either need to manually upgrade your plan, or wait until the next billing cycle.
The Advanced plan lets you print up to 3,000 labels a month for $59 per month. But again, if you go over this limit, you'll incur a $30 charge for every additional 1,000 labels.
For $149 a month, you can access the Premium plan which gives you unlimited label printing. This plan also gives you the ability to connect your own carrier accounts for an additional fee of $30 per 1,000 labels, and integrate with the Ordoro API.
These plans and extra fees can really start to add up for growing businesses, especially if you hit your monthly label limit without realizing it.
Ordoro's Inventory Management Pricing
Inventory management doesn’t come as standard with Ordoro. You’ll need to choose from the Advanced plan at $349 per month for up to 1,000 orders, or the Premium plan for $499 a month, which is confusingly also limited to 1,000 orders.
The only extra feature with Premium is that you’ll be able to manage your manufacturing orders too. Again there are steep fees in the fine print, and exceeding your 1,000 order limit will cost you $100 for every additional 1,000 orders.
Ordoro's Dropshipping Prices
The standard dropshipping plan with Ordoro is $299 a month for up to 1,000 parcels, and there’s a custom plan if you have a higher order volume.
You’ll need to carefully monitor your parcel limit on this plan too, as exceeding the 1,000 dropshipped parcel limit will incur a $100 fee for every additional 1,000 dropshipments.
As you can see, if you want to manage shipping, inventory, and dropshipping with Ordoro, you’ll pay a significant amount of ongoing monthly fees to take care of all your business shipping needs.
Why look for Ordoro alternatives?
Ordoro offers some excellent features for ecommerce sellers, but although it’s promoted as a tool that’s designed to help “merchants processing 10 to 10,000 orders per day”, smaller businesses will find it challenging to balance the ongoing monthly costs with the features they need to scale — especially when it comes to inventory management.
Here are some of the biggest downsides mentioned by Ordoro users.
Price
As we mentioned above, some customers might find the cost of using all the features they need to be restrictive to their business growth.
If your business needs more than the basic functionality, but you don’t have the budget to commit to Odoro’s higher-tier pricing, this software might not be the best fit.
Problems with syncing
Some users mention that there can be a delay with orders coming through, and syncing customer orders with their website or Amazon, and other customers feel frustrated because they have to manually update and sync things themselves.
Limited integrations
Although Ordoro has a good amount of integrations, many users comment that they are unable to integrate with less common systems and apps, or the specific FBA warehouses and carriers that they want to use.
5 best alternatives to Ordoro
If you’re looking for more flexible, cost-effective, or completely free shipping and inventory management software, these are our top picks for Ordoro alternatives.
Veeqo
If the price of Ordoro has made you break out in a cold sweat, Veeqo is a fantastic alternative.
It’s a free, cloud-based software solution that’s packed with all the features you need to handle picking, packing and shipping, inventory control, and warehouse management. It lets you automate and streamline the key parts of your ecommerce operations.
It’s also suitable for every level of business — giving new ecommerce sellers a simple, user-friendly way to manage shipping and inventory, and giving enterprise sellers all the features they need to handle high-volume shipping and warehousing demands.
As part of the Amazon family, you’ll get peace of mind with robust data security, Prime-speed shipping times, integrations with Amazon services including Amazon Shipping and Amazon MCF, and Amazon account protection if you ship on time. And if you’re a Shopify seller, you’ll be pleased to know that Veeqo has qualified as a member of the Shopify Plus Certified App Program due to their ability to solve the complex needs of Shopify Plus merchants.
Key features of Veeqo:
Real-time, multi-channel inventory control
Cross-channel order management
Automated rate shopping
Workflow automations
Integrations with leading marketplaces and apps
Lowest available commercial shipping rates with up to 5% back*
Access to Amazon's warehouse scanners
*Access the lowest commercially available rates, based on our pre-negotiated pricing from UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL and up to 5% back with Veeqo Credits.
Veeqo pricing
Unlike Ordoro, Veeqo is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees and no monthly costs, and you can have as many users and ship as many orders as you want. There's also no charge to connect your own carrier accounts and rates.
And it’s not just the shipping tools that are free. Veeqo’s enterprise-level inventory and warehouse management software are completely free too. It’s all part of the commitment to help ecommerce sellers grow faster.
ShipStation
This is another popular shipping tool that enables users to manage everything from a cloud-based dashboard, helping them streamline orders, print postage labels, and manage shipping and returns from one central place.
Like Veeqo, Shipstation lets you connect with all your sales channels, pulling in all of your order information so you can quickly pick, pack, and ship packages.
Although this software is aimed at businesses from startups to enterprise-level sellers, the high monthly costs can be daunting if you’re a small business, or if you're a larger business that’s budget-conscious and looking to lower costs.
Reviewers say that they love ShipStation for its abilities to speed up fulfillment times, especially when selling across multiple channels. On the flip side, some users find there aren’t enough sorting and filtering features, the customer support isn’t that supportive, and there are frequent bugs with some of the features.
Key features of ShipStation:
Label printing
Carrier discounts
Inventory management
Order management
180+ integrations
Custom branding
API
ShipStation pricing
Shipstation’s plan prices vary depending on the country your business is based in. Let’s take a look at the US prices* as an example. If you’re in the US, there are eight plans to choose from.
The free plan offers startups a great way to get going, and is perfect if you’re sending less than 25 packages a month. It has basic shipping features and lets you add one user.
The tiers increase in price to the mid-range, most popular Gold tier at $99.99 per month for 2,000 packages, plus extra features like discounted shipping rates from USPS, UPS, DHL, and GlobalPost, 24-hour customer support, and customizable labels and packing slips.
If you’re shipping 7,500+ packages a month, you’ll need the top-tier Enterprise plan at $229.99 a month, and beyond that, you’ll need to contact ShipStation’s sales teams to get a custom quote.
Outside of these escalating monthly plan prices, there are also extra fees to connect your own carrier accounts and use premium integrations.

Shippo
Shippo is another popular Ordoro alternative that aims to simplify logistics and workflows for ecommerce sellers. It gives small businesses, developers, and 3PLs the tools they need to handle shipping at scale. And it has a cute hippo logo!
You can connect Shippo with a range of marketplaces and ecommerce sales channels, create and print shipping labels, and manage tracking and returns from the centralized dashboard.
Users can compare shipping rates across 85+ local and global carriers, including FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DHL, and find the best prices for each order.
Reviewers say they love how user-friendly Shippo is, and that their customer support is fast and helpful. However, many users find this software doesn’t have enough features to make the monthly costs worthwhile.
Key features of Shippo:
Shipping management
Inventory management
Discounted carrier rates
Email, phone, and chat support
Custom branding for labels and packing slips
Integrations with leading marketplaces and apps
API
Shippo pricing
Shippo has a vague guide to the pricing of their plans* on their website, so you’ll need to contact sales for an exact quote.
There’s a free tier that lets you add one user and print up to 30 labels a month, which is good value if you’re a startup that only needs basic features.
The Professional plan starts at $19 per month, which includes connecting your own carrier account. Your total monthly costs will depend on the amount of labels you print each month, so your outgoings could fluctuate wildly depending on your order volume.
There are also two separate API pricing plans* if you have extra development and integration needs.

ShipRush
ShipRush is aimed at small to mid-size businesses, helping them to centralize their order and shipping management.
It integrates with major carriers like UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL, and lets users compare carrier rates, access discounted shipping rates, and automate recurring tasks like shipment weights, selecting services and packaging, and automatically applying branded templates.
Unlike Veeqo, Ordoro, and ShipStation, ShipRush doesn’t have any native inventory management capabilities, so if you need this feature, you’ll need to connect to their separate ecommerce WMS for an additional cost.
Key features of ShipRush:
Integrations with major carriers and ecommerce channels
Analytics and reporting
Real-time rate shopping
Workflow automations
Custom branding
ShipRush pricing
ShipRush offers a generous 60-day free trial so you can give it a good test drive before deciding if it’s right for you. There’s also a free plan that offers basic features, and you can ship up to 50 packages a month.
There are two paid plans*, with no restrictions on label amounts. The Speedy plan is $29.95 a month for 3 users, and it has real-time rate shopping included. The Warehouse plan comes in at $99.95 a month for 3 users, with extra features including SQL/MySQL Web Store and LTL add-on options.
You’ll also pay an extra charge of $0.20 per label applied if you use the USPS ground advantage service.
If you want warehouse and inventory management features, the third-party setup* costs start at $9,600, with ongoing monthly plan fees starting at $2,050.

ShippingEasy
ShipStation and ShippingEasy are both part of the Auctane family, which means ShippingEasy has some pretty good features for ecommerce sellers.
This cloud-based software offers low USPS shipping rates and handy automations, and users highly rate their customer support team.
As the name suggests, ShippingEasy makes it easy for all levels of ecommerce sellers who want to make their multi-channel shipping process more efficient. It offers order tracking, inventory management, batch processing, and label printing in one user-friendly centralized place.
The major downside to ShippingEasy is that it’s only available in the USA. So if you’re based anywhere else in the world, you won’t be able to create an account.
Key features of ShippingEasy:
Order management
Product management
Branded labels and packing slips
Workflow automations
Customer marketing tools
Extra features for Shopify sellers
Developer API
ShippingEasy pricing
Users can choose from seven different ShippingEasy pricing plans, as well as a free basic starter plan that lets you ship up to 25 parcels per month.
From there, you can opt for the Growth plan at $19.99 per month, all the way up to the Enterprise plan at $159.99 per month, which will take care of 10,000 shipments. There’s also a separate plan tailored to the needs of LuLaRoe retailers.
As well as ongoing monthly subscription costs, ShippingEasy charges extra fees if you want to connect your own existing carrier accounts.
